Some kinda uniform
Both these pieces, at some point in my retail life, have been some kinda uniform. The cream blouse is a gorgeous little top from Deborah Sweeney that I bought from the Boutique that I used to manage. I loved wearing it every so often, working it with other pieces I had in my wardrobe and selling the beauty to lush girls.
The skirt however was a different kettle of fish. It was my ONE skirt that I had for 6 months when I worked at Hobbs. You heard me right my darling Shoelets – THE ONLY SKIRT I COULD WEAR TO WORK!! Initially I loved the feel of it, the colour, the length, the compliments it gained and did spend a large amount of time one afternoon photographing le derriere on my mobile and sending to Boy…hee hee.
Over time though it got stained, ripped, stitched up, was not BMX friendly…Come the end of my time at Hobbs I started to resent it. However….I knew the love for this ‘perfect length for me’ pencil skirt would return and return it did.
(deborah sweeney blouse, hobbs skirt, office sandals)
I dry-cleaned her, stored her and 7 months later came back to her…Boy am I glad I did! Love the colour blocking, love the shape and love the wolf whistles that follow me when I wear it! HA!!!

Loving the “uniform” the skirt is gorgeous!
I have a skirt that I go through phases of wearing to death and then never wanting to see again but I can’t part with her, I love her too much!
Thanks Franki! Keep hold of those ‘uniforms’, the love always returns like a stalker and can’t be shaken off. x
Also absolutely LOVE the hair!
