Red nix trips: Berlin
While Berlin wasn’t exactly what I expected I was pleasantly surprised at what she had to offer. I set off on the Tuesday from London town to my beloved Paris with just a quick skip from Gare du Nord to Gare du l’Est and then hopped on the overnight sleeper all the way to Berlin. I had two full days in Berlin with my good friend Debbie Vesey,Β who I used to work with at Orla Kiely, and took in this sparsely populated and, at times, often confused capital city that is full of artists, musicians and bon vivants. We wandered the old and the new parts, took a boat trip whilst wearing a sequinned jacket {why not?!} did some amazing vintage shopping, ate so cheaply and daydreamed about what it would be like to live in this up and coming city.
{vintage sequin jacket from sydney, reworked denim gillet, vintage dress from rokit, sample sale leather rucksack from hong kong, topshop shoes, m&s sunnies}
Next stop of the train of Red nix trips train is Vienna!
