It must be time for Glasto
(charity shop cagoule, orla kiely cardi, carhartt shorts, m&s socks, belstaff boots, orla kiely clutch, m&s brolly)
Every year I forget that the weather turns shitty because Glastonbury is imminent! Of course. It’s always wet. Pppfffff…
Now, not that I will ever go and camp and portaloo poo and queue for anything and babywipe shower but I do always daydream about what I would wear to Glasto. I’ll read the mags and scour the photographs to see what Florence and Alexa and Edith are all wearing. I’m never a fan of the overly thought out, the smart shorts and the perfectly placed straw hat but do love a happy accident of fabulousness. A surprise outfit that shocks us all about how it’s worked. In my dream I would also be in one of those posh trailers, have back stage passes to all the shows and access to a proper flushing toilet. Also Bette Midler would be headlining.
The one outfit image that always springs to mind as a surprise, fabulous outfit is what Le Moss wore a couple of years ago
Mud up to her cooch, a definate need for wellies but a gold glitter dress…My hero.
I’d love to wear this but I’d need to incorporate a cagoule somewhere along the way a la Ms Dinsey from WIWT
I’m not ashamed to say that I do love a cagoule and a bright one at that. What can I say…They’re practical and I think they look great! Heading back from a BBQ on Monday night I had beaucoup de fun photographing my Glasto inspired outfit that I wore in the rain.
My cagoule was found in a Chazzer Shazzer for £8 and is an old golf jacket. It’s huge and I love it! Also I’m always seen when I wear it on my bike so another point is awarded for it’s safety value.
Ps. Ms. Dinsey has some great festival tips here
