Nobody loves it….
…everybody hates it.
A business meeting at Soho house meant that I wanted to dress up and celebrity spot over a free lunch. I started with the heels.
I’m going to be honest with you these are painful shoes. They’re plastic and can only be worn for short amounts of time and most of that time needs to be sitting down. Lunch date = perfect! Due to the ankle strap and the hint of a downpour I knew I wanted a longer length skirt and so The big green skirt came out.
Now, As sad as this sounds kids this skirt is actually bullied. In my old job, whenever I wore it, so called friends of mine, let me and The big green skirt know that it just simply wasn’t working. Those haters (and you know who you are!) still, to this day, have no love for TBGS. I tried taking up the hem, dressing it down, dressing it up but I couldn’t get them to change their minds.
I, on the other hand, will always have love for it…
I bought it from a vintage store in Australia and it is comfy, fits well and is a lovely bright colour. The haters may never find love for TBGS but I love showcasing her and think she looks a summer treat.

Hahaha… I know who I am, oh the shame! I just think for the beauty that you are why hide with TBGS. I have a confession, I have recently purchased a big blue skirt which I adore so my previous comments were without thorough research! I’ll always love you in it. xx
